POSITION TITLE: Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst (Remote)
The Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst leads intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination for members of the K-12 Security Information eXchange (K12 SIX), a Global Resilience Federation information sharing community. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking with excellent writing and communication skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, remote environment supporting K12 SIX cybersecurity operations and GRF-wide community engagement.
· Monitor member intelligence submissions, open-source intelligence, government alerts, and internal threat intelligence sources to identify and assess emerging cyber threats relevant to the K-12 education sector, including ransomware activity
· Correlate and enhance threat analysis over time, integrating and analyzing technical information from multiple sources
· Produce and deliver relevant and timely written products and presentations for members, summarizing and synthesizing insights and providing actionable recommendations
· Regularly and effectively collaborate with cross-sector analysts and partners
· Identify, implement, assess, and document enhancements intelligence collection and analysis procedures
· Process member-submitted RFIs by collecting, consolidating, and distributing responses to appropriate stakeholders
· Write, edit, and publish member-facing content (announcements, alerts, newsletters, and reports) on a daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual basis
· Develop briefing materials (slides, talking points) and deliver engaging presentations to internal and external audiences, including during member calls and cross-sector engagements
· Maintain K12 SIX member portal content, including ongoing maintenance of knowledge base, document library, and event calendar
· Provide operational continuity and support ongoing program activities across GRF, as appropriate
· Develop and maintain standard operating process and procedures documentation
· Track and report on metrics related to intelligence products and program outputs
· Other related duties, as assigned and appropriate
· Bachelor’s degree in technical field - or equivalent combination of education and experience - including via holding relevant cybersecurity certifications (such as Security+, Network+, CISSP, CEH, GCIH, etc.)
· 2-3 years of directly relevant experience, preferably with K-12 education sector
· Strong analytic, technical writing, communication, and presentation skills; ability to translate technical information into clear, audience-appropriate language
· Ability to engage effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
