Customer Service Representative/ Utility Billing Clerk is a full-time position in the Finance Department.
General job responsibilities include providing customer service support for electric billing and general borough questions; manage customer accounts for electric service; generate bills, process payments and perform accounts maintenance to address service changes; provide back up to other customer service staff and perform duties in their absence.
This is a non-exempt position of 40 hours per week and pays $26.80/hour. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. The successful applicant must be able to use Word and MS Excel, as well as learn other computer systems. Applicants must be able to pass a criminal background check.
