Customer Service Specialist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reviews current responsibilities and projects and determine priority for action.

Audit customer’s orders for agreement with quotations and product specifications.

Process domestic customer orders.

Follow up domestic customer opportunities.

Prepares quotes for domestic accounts.

Maintain domestic sales files and records.

Be a resource for technical inquiries for all products.

Contact customers about repairs and returns.

Maintain a working knowledge of Glas-Col and competitive products.

Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Associate’s degree or minimum two (2) years college education

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

Ability to write reports and business correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
