The Lubricant Data Entry & Customer Service position is responsible for providing accurate, timely, and professional support to customers while ensuring precise entry and maintenance of lubricant orders, invoices, and related records. This role serves as a key point of contact for customer inquiries and works closely with sales, dispatch, and operations teams to support efficient order processing and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining data accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding lubricant products, pricing, availability, and orders via phone, email, and internal systems
- Accurately enter lubricant orders, deliveries, invoices, and customer information into company databases and internal systems
- Verify order details, product specifications, quantities, and delivery information to ensure accuracy
- Provide timely updates to customers on order status, delivery schedules, and service issues
- Resolve customer questions, discrepancies, and concerns in a professional and efficient manner
- Maintain accurate and organized records of customer interactions, orders, and transactions
- Review data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information and correct as needed
- Collaborate with sales, dispatch, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure accurate fulfillment and customer satisfaction
- Assist with invoicing support, documentation, and reporting related to lubricant sales and deliveries
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and data security standards
- Maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude in all interactions
- Perform general administrative and data entry duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior data entry or administrative experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Ability to type efficiently and accurately
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
