COMPENSATION: $54,000 to $58,000 base salary + bonus
The Portland operation runs two shifts, one from Sunday through Thursday and the other from Tuesday through Saturday. These shifts run from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM on normal workdays but may be modified according to the needs of the business.

Our typical litter collection crews are staffed with:
· Crew Leads who operate the vehicles transporting the crews and oversee the crew(s) in the absence of the Supervisor.
On a typical day, the Supervisor will meet their crew(s) at a central location. From there, the Supervisor will escort the crew to their designated working location. Throughout the day, the Supervisor will oversee the execution of the work being performed to ensure that all safety and quality expectations are met, as well as addressing any unique issues that arise.
· Oversee the day-to-day performance of up to 20 employees
· Assist team with litter collection, loading, and unloading as necessary to ensure performance goals are being met
· Exercise self-control and good judgement in all situations.
· Take a teamwork approach to the job cooperating with others, offering help to others when needed, and considering large organizational goals rather than individual concerns.
· Obey all safety rules and regulations, including the wear of required Personal Protective Equipment
· Ensure that all employees are working safely and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment
· Place, move, and recover temporary traffic control signage throughout the workday
· Immediately correct any unsafe situations when possible. Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to the Area Operations Manager immediately.
· Report to work at the scheduled time and work the entire assigned shift.
· Meet assigned litter collection goals, while striving for continuous improvement and gains in efficiency and performance
· Identify any process improvements and report to the field supervisor.
· Track and report requested metrics to Area Operations Manager daily
· Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
· Apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
· Operate cargo vans, large trucks, and vehicles pulling a trailer.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for the Human Resources team to assist with onboarding new employees. This includes, but is not limited to, collecting I9 identity documents and assisting new employees with completion of digital onboarding using laptops or mobile devices.
· Train new employees in the safe and efficient execution of their assigned duties.
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
· Reliable transportation to meet assigned location as early as 6:00am
· Stand and walk up to 5 miles per day over rough, steep, and uneven terrain in all weather conditions
· Lift up to 25lbs regularly throughout the day, and 50lbs occasionally
· Sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch occasionally
· Use hands and arms to operate grabber-type device, finger, handle, feel, and reach regularly
· See items with close, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles; and will frequently be exposed to moving traffic and outdoor weather conditions. The noise level for this environment will be loud. Requires collection of litter along roadways and rights-of-way for extended periods and in all types of weather.
