Crew Foreman

Mountain Parks Electric is a distribution cooperative seeking individuals for the Crew Foreman position in our Granby, Colorado location. Mountain Parks Electric has approximately 70 employees, 1,800 miles of line, and serves 22,000 meters. MPE is headquartered in Granby, Colorado located at an elevation of 7,935 feet, 90 miles from Denver International Airport and 25 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park. Experience gold-medal fishing in the Colorado and Fraser Rivers or take a boat out on Lake Granby, the second largest body of water in Colorado. Granby is near Shadow Mountain and Grand Lake and offers spectacular scenery, miles of hiking trails connecting Granby to Fraser, Colorado, downhill skiing, mountain bike trail systems, and down-hill bike park and cross-country trails at nearby resorts.

The Crew Foreman provides effective leadership of assigned personnel and assures adherence to safety and specification requirements while constructing, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical facilities. This position plans, organizes, and coordinates a variety of new construction, maintenance, and/or repair projects, on energized and de-energized lines both above ground and underground, on all voltages required throughout the system to ensure efficient utilization of materials, equipment, and staff.

The Crew Foreman assists in planning, developing, and recommending work plans and programs, through thorough knowledge of Mountain Parks Electric's entire electrical system.

Qualifications include a Journeyman Lineman certification with 1 year of closely related and progressive job experience. Must have a valid Colorado Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and must keep current and valid throughout employment. Must reside within a 45-minute response time of service area center, and within service territory.
