The Corporate Controller will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and routinely with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and Chief International Business Development Officer. The right candidate for the role will show an aptitude for leading and supervising a team, exhibit enthusiasm for the opportunity to work in a small, fast-growing company, and adapt well to change.
The Corporate Controller will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, and compliance with all relevant regulations. This role is critical in providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making and drive the company’s financial performance.
Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP.
Conduct financial analysis to support strategic planning and operational decisions.
Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing forecasts.
Develop and monitor key financial metrics and KPIs.
Design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
Manage cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.
Prepare and actualize cash flow projections weekly, monthly and semi-annually.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Coordinate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute financial strategies.
Provide financial insights and recommendations for business growth and profitability.
Support M&A activities, including due diligence and integration.
Ensure accurate and timely project accounting, including tracking and reporting of project costs.
Oversee financial reporting and monthly reconciliation of construction projects and government assistance funds.
Provide financial oversight and support for project managers to optimize project financial performance.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $190,000 to $210,000 + benefits (DOE). Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work locations and additional factors, including job-related skill, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed reflect the base salary only and do not include any bonus or benefits.

12+ years of experience in accounting with 6+ years in Supervisor or Manager capacity.
At least 4+years of experience with a global accounting firm
Flexibility and ability to maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with short deadlines.
Proven track record of mentoring and training team members.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications, with strong excel skills.
Experience with government contracts and grants is a plus.
Comfortable in a fast pace dynamic growth environment.
