Job Responsibilities

- Ability to lead and champion troubleshooting activities providing excellent service to reported concerns and manage work scope to resolution

- Provide updates and progress statuses to internal and external customers

- Basic knowledge in Front end Software design, UI/UX interfaces

- Basic Networking skills with the ability to configure hardware

- Ability to develop Automation tools to manage Code Development and help improve the quality of the code.

- Support the development of updates from QA to Production Server environments locally and in the Cloud.

- Able to review Interfaces, Logs files, Tools, etc for Data reconciliation, patching, troubleshooting, and issue resolution purposes.

- Able to adapt and execute Agile Process for Requirements, Design, Develop and to Test Software.

- Facilitate testing programs in the lab

- Able to load, update, and maintain hardware configuration and setup

- Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures. Prepare handover packages for the product teams.

- Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments

- Provide DevOPs support for continuous maintenance and improvement scope

- Ability to support team with requisition task as time permits

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/ Controls/ Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university

- Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience with a degree

- Minimum of 6 years of applicable experience without a degree

- Working knowledge of the development / use of:

- Code – Java, C/C++, Java Script, HTML5, Python

- Database - MySQL

- Cloud Services – AWS/Azure

- DevOps Tools – Git Maven, Build tools, Automated Testing Tools, Continuous Integration Tools, Agile tools.

- Optional:

- Database – PostGres, NoSQL

- Framework – Spring, Hibernate, Angular.JS, JBoss/Wildfly

- Self-Driven with the ability to technically support a team

- Ability to work in a team environment on short- and long-term projects

- Oral and written communication skills with the ability to discuss the architecture to key stake holders

- Good presentation skills

Desired Characteristics

- Product knowledge of Oil and Gas Rigs Onshore and Offshore

- Cyber security framework knowledge

- Ability to recommend improvements / resolutions to improve customer satisfaction and product functionality
