Maintain inventory and supplies needed for hammer crew, operator, and welding
Responsible for preparation
Insures job quality and customer satisfaction by overseeing the rigging, hammering, and completion
Responsible for repair, service, and maintenance of tools and accessories for welding and hammer jobs
Responsible for greasing and filling up hammer on locations
Responsible for off loading trucks and rig up crane and hammer
Responsible for welding 20” 16”14” drive pipe as it’s driven
Responsible for washing off pad eyes as joints are lowered into the cellar, then weld up next joint
Responsible for rigging down and reloading trucks
Responsible for maintaining and utilizing proper lift gear for hammer jobs
Troubleshoot and repair equipment on job sites
Suggest improvements to equipment issues
Comply with all equipment protocols
Responsible for working on all types of welding projects
Modify and fabricate pipe as required by supervisor
.Keep work area safe and in a clean manner
Inspect parts for compliance to engineering drawings
Responsible for attending safety meetings before jobs and completing all JSA's
Adhere to and ensure compliance of all of Premiere's policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards
Follow the Quality process and procedures stated for the role
Understand the Quality Policy and your contributions to the quality objectives
Perform other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Three years minimum welding experience
- Must be proficient in stick and tig welding
- Welding test with stick in the 2G position must be passed on plate test with no assistance.
- Has knowledge of cutting and fitting
- Able to complete all necessary welds from start to finish.
- Must comply with all Premiere's medical, drug/alcohol, safety programs, and/or rule
- Good Record keeping skills, math skills, and accurate measurement capability
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize
- Strong time management and problem solving skills, self-directed, and ability to work unsupervised
- Willingness to learn how to operate hammers on job sites
- Willingness to undergo training to increase and/or enhance skill set
- Works in shop setting and in the field
- May be on location exposed to the elements for extended periods of time
- Job may require overtime hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
