Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Psychology, Business, Statistics, or a related field

- Advanced degree (e.g., MB, MA in Market Research or Analytics) is a strong asset but not mandatory if experience demonstrates equivalent capability

- 5-8+ years of experience of progressive experience in consumer insights, market research or strategy, ideally at a senior strategist or advisor level

- Proven track record of designing and executing high-quality qualitative and quantitative research projects

- Hands-on experience with research platforms such as Qualtrics XM, and managing top-tier research partners

- Confident presenting to senior audiences and influencing decisions

- Agility to thrive in a high-performance, fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality

Responsibilities:

- Design, execute, and deliver high-quality research that shapes our brand, marketing, and innovation strategies

- Lead both qualitative and quantitative research projects — from identifying the business question to translating findings into strategic recommendations

- Partner with world-class research agencies when it makes sense — gaining exposure to cutting-edge thinking and learning from the best in the business

- Stay on top of emerging industry trends, tools, and methodologies, selecting the most effective research solutions for each challenge

- Turn complex data into compelling, actionable stories that leaders act on.

- Monitor market, cultural, and competitive shifts to uncover opportunities ahead of the curve

Location & Other Key Details:

- This is an office-based role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.

- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday

- Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
