About This Job

•

Possess working knowledge of leadership management skills.

•

Schedule and manage subcontractors and advise job foremen in safe productive work procedures.

•

Schedule inspections and meet with inspectors.

•

Read blueprints and specs to ensure work corresponds to contract.

•

Conduct pre-job or tailgate briefings.

•

Develop and maintain complete and detailed work schedule and manage work in accordance with the schedule.

•

Coordinate, order, and track material deliveries.

•

Communicate with and update clients on project status, issues, and scheduling, etc.

•

Work safely while performing new construction, maintenance, demo or repair work.

•

Possess a working knowledge of basic hand tools and power tools.

•

Troubleshoot problems as well as supervise troubleshooting on site.

•

Maintain vehicles, trailers, equipment, and tools in good working order.

•

Comply with reporting procedures.

•

Ensure company safety policies are implemented consistently and meet OSHA guidelines.

•

Ensure quality standards and housekeeping requirements are maintained.

Preferred skills:

•

Journeyman level carpentry skills

•

Experience running heavy equipment such as telehandlers, skid loaders, etc.

Summary

As a Construction Superintendent, you will oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will utilize your core skills in construction management, project scheduling, and supervising to lead teams effectively on-site. Your premium knowledge of construction management software and contracts will enhance project efficiency. Qualifications

Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent with strong leadership and management skills.

•

Proficiency in project scheduling and construction management software.

•

Solid understanding of quality control processes and construction estimating.

•

Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards.

•

Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.

•

Experience with budgeting and contract management in construction projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
