•Possess working knowledge of leadership management skills.
•Schedule and manage subcontractors and advise job foremen in safe productive work procedures.
•Schedule inspections and meet with inspectors.
•Read blueprints and specs to ensure work corresponds to contract.
•Conduct pre-job or tailgate briefings.
•Develop and maintain complete and detailed work schedule and manage work in accordance with the schedule.
•Coordinate, order, and track material deliveries.
•Communicate with and update clients on project status, issues, and scheduling, etc.
•Work safely while performing new construction, maintenance, demo or repair work.
•Possess a working knowledge of basic hand tools and power tools.
•Troubleshoot problems as well as supervise troubleshooting on site.
•Maintain vehicles, trailers, equipment, and tools in good working order.
•Comply with reporting procedures.
•Ensure company safety policies are implemented consistently and meet OSHA guidelines.
•Ensure quality standards and housekeeping requirements are maintained.
Preferred skills:
•Journeyman level carpentry skills
•Experience running heavy equipment such as telehandlers, skid loaders, etc.
