As a Construction Project Manager / Estimator, you’ll play a dual role in shaping and executing landfill gas infrastructure projects. You’ll be responsible for preparing competitive bids, managing project lifecycles from kickoff to closeout, and ensuring quality, compliance, and client satisfaction. This position blends technical estimating expertise with hands-on project leadership, offering a dynamic career path in a niche and growing industry.
- Prepare accurate estimates independently or as part of a team
- Perform quantity takeoffs and material estimates
- Solicit and evaluate quotes from vendors and subcontractors
- Analyze drawings and specifications to develop competitive bids
- Interpret construction contracts and bid requirements
- Oversee awarded projects from kickoff to closeout (office and field)
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, engineers, and internal teams
- Monitor costs, cash flow, and job cost analysis
- Issue purchase orders and manage submittals
- Lead weekly project meetings and prepare documentation
- Submit monthly reports and RFIs
- Verify payment applications and manage contract administration
- Generate punch lists and oversee closeout procedures
- Ensure schedule adherence and resolve issues proactively
- Partner with field superintendents and crews to uphold quality standards
- Minimum 3 plus years of experience in estimating and project management
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, methods, and materials
- Proficient in reading blueprints and bid documents
- Proficient with Excel, Bluebeam, Adobe Pro, MS Office
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Comfortable working in both office and field environments
- Able to travel 10–20% as needed
- Able to work from a home office 80–90% of the time
