We are looking for an experienced and values-driven Construction Leadman to lead and develop our underground utility crews in the field. You’ll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, holding co-workers accountable for performance and safety, and collaborating with leadership to build A high-performance culture. This position reports directly to the General Superintendent.
Manage day-to-day field operations for underground utility projects (water, sewer, stormwater).
Supervise and mentor crew members, ensuring accountability for production, safety, and crew performance.
Provide coaching and on-the-job training to crew members.
Collaborate with leadership to create an environment where employees are supported and set up to succeed.
Monitor job schedules, productivity, quality, and compliance with plans and specifications.
Ensure job sites are safe and operate in compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
Maintain daily field reports and provide regular updates to the General Superintendent.
5+ years of underground utility construction experience (water, sewer, storm systems)
Proven leadership skills with the ability to hold others accountable while encouraging growth
Familiarity with safety protocols and field documentation requirements
Valid Florida Driver’s License with clean driving record
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
Proven experience as a Construction Leadman, preferably in underground utility projects.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, PMP) are a plus.
