Job Overview
As the Lead Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing all engineering and technical aspects of project delivery or tendering. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will lead cross-functional engineering teams, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule targets are met while driving technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities
•
Works with the Project Management Team to ensure the successful completion of on-going or new projects.
•
Oversee engineering, technical, early procurement, and site due-diligence functions of the projects over an extended period of project life cycle.
•
Provide support, and assistance to customer projects from the procurement through the construction phase of projects
•
Interprets project plans and specifications.
•
Schedules project work activities according to plan timelines to ensure timely project completion.
•
Provides interface with project team members, suppliers, customers, and others who are involved in project work.
•
Review documentation related to new customer projects, including technical documentation, drawings, schematics, site layouts, and design reviews
•
Understand P&ID and piping routine requirements.
Requirements
•
Prefer to have at least 5 years of piping engineering related working experience or similar activities as describe above.
•
Min. bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
•
Good skill in Excel is preferred.
•
2D applications such as AutoCAD, etc.
•
3D model review applications such as Autodesk Inventor
•
Excellent technical, practical, and communication skills.
