Construction Inspector

Position Summary

The Engineering Company is looking for a Construction Inspector to be responsible for working on water infrastructure projects to include concrete work, earthwork and soil-cement. Duties include working with a design and construction team, ensuring the project specifications and construction documents are being followed by the contractor, ensuring compliance with testing and quality requirements, completing daily construction reports with accuracy (reports include quantities and progress achieved by contractor), creating and updating daily inspection reports, developing Standard Operating Procedures for project activities, and inspection.

The Construction Inspector will work closely with engineers and contractors in a dynamic setting, and the time will be spent in the field. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in the civil engineering industry and in the construction discipline.
