Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Foreman to oversee and coordinate construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of construction processes, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. This role requires effective communication with team members, subcontractors, and clients while utilizing construction management software to streamline operations.
Duties
•Supervise with bags on, daily construction activities and manage on-site personnel to ensure project specifications are met.
•Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets
•Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
•Conduct regular inspections of work quality and adherence to plans, making adjustments as necessary.
•Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
•Provide training and mentorship to junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications
•Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
•Strong knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and safety regulations (OSHA).
•Excellent budgeting skills with the ability to manage project costs effectively.
•Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to interact with diverse teams.
•Ability to read plans and technical drawings accurately.
•High school diploma or equivalent; further education in construction management or related fields is a plus.
