· Technical Expertise: Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications, and a thorough understanding of construction processes and materials.
· Problem-Solving: Skilled in identifying and resolving issues promptly to keep projects on track and minimize delays.
· Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines efficiently.
· Safety and Compliance: Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations, ensuring all site activities comply with relevant laws and practices.
· Quality Control: Keen attention to detail to maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure the quality of finished projects.
· Adaptability: Capacity to adapt to changing circumstances and handle unexpected challenges effectively.
· Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities for managing schedules, materials, and project documentation.
· Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with crew members, clients, and suppliers.
· 10+ years' experience in Carpentry. Previous experience as a Foreman, required.
· High School or GED equivalent preferred, but not required. Experience within the Construction field may substitute educational requirements.
· Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required. Job site locations will vary- must be able to travel within state of CT/MA.
· Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively through a variety of platforms (Phone call, text, email, etc.)
· Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and tools, weighing 75 pounds or more.
· Ability to occasionally work varying offers (Ex. Night Shift).
· Capacity to stand, walk, and work on your feet for extended periods, throughout a full workday.
· Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach various positions to access work areas, install fixtures, and perform tasks.
· Ability to safely work on ladders, scaffolding, or uneven surfaces.
· Proficiency in climbing ladders and scaffolding safely to access elevated work areas.
· Ability to work in a variety of outdoor elements with exposure to varying weather conditions.
