Construction Foreman

Pathfinder Inspections and Field Services is seeking motivated individuals to fill the role of Construction Foreman/Lead for our North Dakota branch.

This is a working foreman position and requires proven knowledge and experience of building construction, carpentry, and finish work.

Responsibilities for this task are as follows:

- Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supplies, deliveries and personnel availability

- Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and sub-contractors

- Training, managing and mentoring employees and sub-contractors

- Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices and safety needs

- Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment through best management practices and procedures

- Developing and managing project budgets and quality standards for all sites

- Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably

- Regularly reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers and other officials

- Ensure jobs are completed in the allotted time frames

Required Knowledge/Skills:

· Reading blueprints and being able to translate to a finished product

· Steel erection, steel siding and roofing (36” wide product, exposed fasteners, all metal trim related to a steel building

· Framing, roofing, siding of stick-built projects

· Window/door installation (residential as well as light commercial)

· Floor covering knowledge

· Insulation experience

· Drywall installation and finishing

· Millwork (base/casing/crown moldings)

· Equipment operating (skid steer, telehandler, loader)

Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
