Integral HR Solutions is partnering with The Frame to recruit and place a service-oriented Construction Estimator. The Frame provides fast, precise, light gauge steel framing solutions for mid-rise residential and commercial projects, helping developers build smarter, faster, and more sustainably. As a Construction Estimator, the chosen candidate will play a crucial role in turning architectural visions into accurate, buildable, and cost-effective steel framing packages for projects across Southern Ontario.
· Specializes in prefabricated light gauge steel building components that are “fast and built to last,” supporting efficient, repeatable mid-rise construction.
· Partners with developers, builders, and design teams to streamline schedules, reduce waste, and improve quality through off-site fabrication and integrated framing systems.

· Review bid opportunities and contract documents (drawings, specs, addenda, schedules) to accurately scope The Frame’s steel framing packages.
· Prepare comprehensive material takeoffs using PlanSwift and other digital tools, ensuring quantities and assemblies align with The Frame’s standardised framing systems.
· Prepare project cost estimates, bills of material, and professional proposal submissions that accurately reflect current supplier pricing, production capacity, and installation methods.
· Use The Frame’s software and data systems to organize estimates, track revisions, and support fast, repeatable project delivery.
· Coordinate with design, production, and project management teams to support shop drawing, fabrication, and site execution requirements, including printing fabrication drawings and panel ID stickers.
· Construction-related diploma or certificate (or equivalent experience) with at least three years of experience on residential and/or commercial construction projects, ideally involving structural or framing scopes.
· Strong numerical, analytical, and cost/benefit skills, with the ability to make profitable decisions in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.
· Proficiency with MS Office and estimating/takeoff software (PlanSwift experience considered an asset).
· Detail orientation, excellent organization, and the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines at once while maintaining accuracy.
· Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, and adapt as projects evolve.
· Working out of their North York facility, the Construction Estimator will report to the President and focus on projects across the GTA and surrounding markets.
· Compensation: $50,000–$70,000 annually based on experience, plus health and dental benefits after 3 months.
