Construction Coordinator - PL#54113

The Construction Coordinator supports the construction management team (CMT) in safely and efficiently executing construction work. This is a field-based role with regular visits to the construction workface to support construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate activities between the CMT, engineering team, contractors, and operations to ensure construction work proceeds efficiently.

- Support CMT and contractor personnel in the use of digital/computer-based systems and mobile field devices.

- Log and track action items, maintain digital records, and provide general administrative support as required.

- Liaise with engineering personnel to obtain answers to RFIs and other technical queries.

- Conduct weekly reviews of construction schedules submitted by contractors and coordinate feedback from discipline superintendents.

- Validate claimed schedule progress with the CMT and contractors, raising discrepancies to the Construction Manager for resolution.

- Track, and in some cases calculate, construction productivity.

- Conduct site inspections as required to support safe and efficient construction activities.

Requirements

- Pre-access substance testing completed.

- 8+ Years of experience in previous role.

- WHMIS certification.

- Ability to work on a 2 weeks in / 2 weeks out rotation, 11-hour workdays.

- Strong communication skills for collaboration with the CMT, contractors, and engineering teams.
