Job Summary
The Construction Coordinator will be responsible for oversight of the construction phases of well pads, roads, and facilities site. This role will be based out of the Tilden field office.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a champion for promoting a culture of safety in every facet of day to day activities
- Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization
- Participate in the electrical testing & pre-commissioning work on site in the form of walkdowns and functional verification, agreeing punch list items and categorization
- Lead construction and commissioning activities on projects under supervision
- Assist in carrying out pre, post and intermediate site electrical inspection and undertake quality checks on completed work, or work in progress as required
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory, statutory and company requirements
- Provide support to complete updates of all As Built Drawings and P&IDs to ensure that final revisions for the assets are up to date at project closure
- Coordinate Powerline design, scope, bids, construction and energization and ensure that Powerline maps are uploaded to arcGIS
- Relay information from energy providers to operations as related to outages
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned
Licenses/ Certifications
Valid driver’s license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle is required.
Qualifications/Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in construction management or construction coordinator roles
- Experience in Microsoft Excel
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Extensive experience supervising E&I Contractors
- Ability to understand project procedures and drawings in particular extensive understanding of P&IDs/Load List/One Line Diagrams/IO Schedule/C&Es.
Physical requirements typically include standing, stooping, walking, climbing, lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and wearing various personal protective equipment (PPE) in extreme variations of temperature year-round. The successful candidate must be able to complete all essential, physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
