We’re looking for a Construction Site Coordinator with experience in the water/wastewater industry to oversee daily operations and maintenance activities at our industrial wastewater facility in the Wichita, KS area. This role provides leadership to a team of operators while also performing hands-on treatment and maintenance tasks that ensure safe, efficient, and compliant facility operations.
The starting pay is $26.00-$32.00 per hour depending on experience. Candidates with enough industry experience may be able to negotiate a higher starting rate.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday 1st shift (7:00 am – 4:00 pm), with weekend overtime as required.

- Lead operators by overseeing hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and development.
- Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Ensure SOPs, DOT, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements are met at all times.
- Oversee operations, conduct site visits, and coordinate with the maintenance team on repairs and upgrades.
- Manage budgets for operations, maintenance, and capital equipment; create monthly operations reports.
- Ensure proper maintenance of trucks and equipment.
- Communicate regularly with account managers and clients regarding ongoing operations.
- Find opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and quality across facility operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3-5 years of water/wastewater experience.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).
- State-specific Water/Wastewater Operator License (required or ability to obtain).
- Technical skills: proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong knowledge of OSHA and DOT requirements, ability to complete regulatory reports and documentation.
- Physical ability to frequently lift 50–60 pounds, move heavy equipment/tools, walk or stand for extended periods, climb stairs and ladders, and access confined spaces.
- Ability to work weekends and on-call when needed.
