Communications Advisor (Copy Editor)

In this job, you’ll lead the department’s copy-editing needs for a variety of channels and publications, including news releases, feature stories, executive social media posts, corporate reports, white papers, employee communications and more.

You will also oversee the department’s content translation process, project managing vendors to make sure quality control is maintained and managing the budget. Occasionally, you will help write narrative copy for various external and internal channels (SCE.com, Edison.com, Energized, newsroom, portal) aligned to business priorities, goals and enterprise content strategy.

Importantly, you have a knack for details and spot Oxford commas with ease and consider yourself an expert copy editor with mastery of AP Style. You have a strong focus on process, quality and continuous improvement.

This role serves as PIO during emergency Incident Management Team activations and after hours (including nights and weekends) on-call duty.
