We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) systems, and refrigeration equipment for commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering excellent service to our clients.

Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Technician Key Responsibilities:

- Install and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial buildings, restaurants and retail establishments.

- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC/refrigeration equipment such as compressors, ice machines, evaporators, motors, and condensers.

- Perform routine maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems to ensure efficient operation.

- Inspect and test systems to ensure they meet compliance standards and regulations.

- Collaborate with other team members and clients to provide excellent customer service.

- Prepare and maintain accurate records of work performed, including reports and logs.

- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues quickly to minimize downtime for customers.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety protocols, industry standards, and environmental regulations.

- Recommend upgrades or replacements when necessary to improve system efficiency and performance.

Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Technician Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification in HVAC or refrigeration preferred.

- EPA Certification required (e.g., EPA Section 608 Universal Technician Certification).

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Technician.

- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair.

- Proficient with tools and equipment used in the HVAC/refrigeration trade.

- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Technician Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools (up to 50 lbs.).

- Work in various conditions including hot, cold, and confined spaces.

- Ability to stand, crouch, and climb ladders for extended periods.
