Summary

Looking for an electrical engineering student to work as an intern in our Customer Operations department.

The student intern will work daily scheduled hours based on the department’s needs, with a minimum requirement of 15 hours and up to 40 hours per week maximum.

What You'll Do

- Assist Engineers in setting up and performing metering test cases, electrical designs, and programming of meters

- Assist Engineering Technicians in daily operations tasks, reports, and research of meters on the AMI network

- Ability to learn both the operations and engineering side of metering as it relates to the AMI network

What It Takes To Succeed

- Intern pursuing a degree within electrical engineering is preferred.

- This is a paid opportunity for a student working a minimum of 15 hours per week. However, work hours and schedules may fluctuate based on departmental needs.

- Applicant must be enrolled and attending a minimum of six (6) college credits per semester.

Education

College level coursework (100+) from an accredited institution will be evaluated on an individual basis according to the skill/level to determine if applicable to the position by management.

Hybrid Workplace

SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
