DEPARTMENT:

Performs the operation of rolling stands assembly and complex repairs, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards.

Main responsibilities:

- Performs cage assemble and disassemble.

- Repairs and replaces tool parts.

- Carries out equipment diagnosis.

- Controls equipment lubrication.

- Changes machine parts such as bearings or shafts.

- Performs dimensional and visual inspection of the repair.

- Executes equipment set-up and rolls calibration according to specifications.

- Repairs and replaces simple parts.

Schedule: This position will be required to work on a rotating shift.

Preferred skills:

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent

- Experience: Maintenance, mechanical skills

- Welding experience

- Familiar with operating a forklift

- Familiar with operating an overhead crane

- Ability to work in a team and maintain a good attitude

- Familiar with the ERW process and the Tubing Industry
