CNC Setup Technician 3rd Shift

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced CNC setup people for our Machining facility in Fruitport. The applicant, for consideration, must have CNC setup experience for Lathes and/or Mills to be able to contribute with minimum direction and training. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency in using precision measuring instruments. The Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet quality and performance standards.

Responsibilities

- Setup 2-axis CNC lathes

- Setup 4-Axis Vertical and Horizontal Mills

- Routine maintenance and production support

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards.

- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation.

- Basic math skills for calculations related to machining and problem solving.

- Ability to use precision measuring instruments effectively, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.

- Working knowledge of CNC Code.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
