Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machinery to ensure efficient and reliable production processes.
We have Fanuc based controller machines, with a majority being Okuma Mills/Turning and Fanuc Robodrills. We also have Haus milling machines, Tsugami's, Onsrud, Northwood and Tongtai routers.
- Troubleshoots, identifies machine malfunctions and isolates the failure mechanism.
- Repairs the failure mechanism in the most cost-effective manner.
- Performs preventive maintenance at specified intervals and schedules.
- Performs calibrations and re-qualifications on equipment at specified intervals and schedules.
- Assists process technicians and engineers with the installation and removal of process equipment.
- Records times and problems in equipment logs and in our maintenance tool, called MaintainX
- Disassembles instruments and equipment and inspects components for defects.
- Aligns, repairs, replaces, and balances component parts and circuitry.
- Assists engineers in formulating test, calibration, repair and evaluation plans.
- Maintain precision accuracy of measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment.
- Highest level may perform both software and hardware maintenance.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- 5 - 7 years related experience
- 3-5 years' experience minimum using Okuma Mills/Turning and Fanuc Robodrills. We also have Haus milling machines, Tsugami's, Onsrud, Northwood and Tongtai routers.
- High School diploma, military technical training, or equivalent vocational training.
- CNC Repair experience
