First Shift Setup Machinist

PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Technical Certificate

- Five (+) years experience programming and operating CNC Mill and/or CNC Lathes, CAM Programming experience is a plus

SKILLS REQUIRED

- Shop math and GD&T

- Blueprint reading

- Use of CNC mill (Brother and HAAS) / CNC lathe (bonus)

- Use of manual machines

- Use of hand measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.)

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Set-up jobs on CNC machines: loading material, tool selection and fixture setup

- Verify and edit machine settings and CNC program parameters in Hypermill

- Monitor tool life, perform tool changes and recommend tool replacement as necessary

- Use precision measuring tools to verify in-process dimensions and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards

- Work within ISO9000 / AS9100 Quality Management System

JOB TYPE & BENEFITS

- Full-time

- First Shift – 6:30am-3:00pm

- $22-28+/hr

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
