Job Title: CNC Plasma Operator

Summary:

Corrosion Engineering is seeking a CNC Plasma Operator.

This position is a temp to hire position. Benefits and other company perks will be available once 520 hours of work have been performed. Must be able to work Fridays and overtime when necessary (depending on company needs).

Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations

- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations

- Fabricate parts using various CNC machines such as milling machines, lathes, and electrical discharge machining (EDM) equipment

- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy of machined parts

- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications

- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and tooling

- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of CNC machining principles

- Proficient in reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T symbols

- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers

- Ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines

- Knowledge of different types of tooling used in CNC machining

- Experience with press brake machines is a plus

- Ability to operate a crane for material handling is a plus

- U.S Citizenship is required

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
