Production Team Member- CNC Plasma Machine Operator

Weir ESCO Onsite Lively, ON Purpose of Role: Reporting to the Steel Processing Supervisor, the CNC Plasma Machine Operator is responsible for cuts, trims, or scarfs metal plate with plasma and oxy-fuel cutting equipment to dimensions, contour, or bevel specified by blueprints and/or work orders. - CNC Plasma Machine: Cut and trim metal plate with plasma and oxy-fuel cutting equipment to dimensions, contour, or bevel, specified by blueprints and work orders.

- Preventative Maintenance: Thorough preventative maintenance of the machine and ability to resolve minor mechanical issues.

- Assist with training and mentoring.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

- Previous Experience running a Plasma Machine.

- Understand settings and different features on the machine for specific tasks.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Thorough understanding and use of measuring tools.

- Thorough understanding of drawings and work orders.
