Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our 3-axis milling department. The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This position requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of machining processes, and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities:

- Operate CNC 3-axis milling machines to produce precision parts.

- Load and unload parts, fixtures, and tooling.

- Perform machine setups under supervision or from documented setup sheets.

- Monitor machining operations and make basic offsets or adjustments as needed.

- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.) to ensure compliance with specifications.

- Maintain accurate documentation of production runs, inspections, and any deviations.

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

- Communicate with supervisors and programmers about tooling, process, or quality concerns.

- Assist in continuous improvement efforts for efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in machining a plus.

- 1+ year experience operating CNC milling machines (3-axis preferred).

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

- Familiarity with G-code and basic machine controls.

- Knowledge of precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
