CNC Mill Operator

The CNC Mill Operator will manage computer numeric controlled (CNC) mill equipment from setup to operation, producing parts and tools from different resources. The Operator will be tasked with monitoring machinery, inspecting finished products and leading test runs.

· Able to do basic mill set ups a plus

· Understand various CNC Mill controls

· Capable of interpreting blueprints

· Capable of reading and using measuring instruments

· Smoke-free and phone-free environment (except during breaks or lunch)

· Make offsets and change inserts during operation

· Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company

· Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results

· Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality

· Record all machine actions by completing production and quality logs

· Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part

· Ensure that results of machining process align with client expectations

· Conduct regular CNC machine assessments

· High school diploma or equivalent qualification required

· 2-3 years’ experience as a CNC Mill Machine Operator preferred

o Experience with Fanuc Controls, Fadal, and Haas mills preferred

o Ability to efficiently read calipers

· Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude

· Strong comprehension and analytical abilities

· Forklift experience a plus

· Good computer and mathematical skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
