Job Summary:
We’re hiring a CNC Manufacturing Engineer to plan and support CNC machining operations from programming to closeout. This role works directly with the shop foreman and quality manager, and is expected to grow into an operations leadership position as the company scales.
- Program new parts using Fusion 360 (Esprit CAM experience is a plus)
- Create detailed setup sheets for CNC operators
- Review technical drawings and customer specifications
- Plan and manage all CNC tooling: selection, ordering, and organization
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure jobs run efficiently
- Answer customer questions and clarify job requirements before production
- Plan and manage CNC machine maintenance schedules
- Utilize JobBoss ERP for job tracking and closeouts
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support on the shop floor
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of CNC machining experience - 2+ years using Fusion 360 for CAM programming- Experience with tooling management and machine maintenance planning
- Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretation
- Familiarity with JobBoss ERP and Esprit CAM is a plus
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
