CNC Programmer

Under the direction of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, this position will assist in the creation and troubleshooting of programs using best work holding and safety practices for CNC lathes and mills. Edit and troubleshoot existing programs as needed. Will aid with proving out new processes and tooling to maximize production. Generate set up sheets to go with programs.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Initial programming of components on two and three axis machining centers (CNC Mills, Lathes, Wire EDM and Laser)

- Debugging of programs, processes and tooling

- Maintenance of existing programs

- Modification and transfer of existing programs to machining centers

- Proves out programs and new processes

- Other duties as assigned

Critical Competencies

- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality

- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines

- Must be able to read blueprints

- CNC Machining experience required

Education And Experience Requirements

- High School diploma or equivalent

- CNC Machining experience required
