•Confirm job order procedures and instructions relating to machine operations.
•Set up and operate CNC Machines and/or production equipment; strictly following instructions, job specifications and blueprints.
•Read blueprints accurately to properly set up machinery.
•Operate hand tools as necessary to set up tools in the correct machine.
•Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions.
•Identify and stamp parts for traceability.
•Inspect products per print.
•Keep machine clean, perform minor maintenance as needed, and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
•Must be willing to purchase required tools, which must pass certification criteria.
•Must be able to complete the above tasks under close supervision.
•Perform entry level CNC machining processes with assistance.
•Skills to be developed by repeating operations and on the job training.
•Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and blue prints.
•Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
•Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
•Able to compute rate, ratio and percent.
•Other duties as assigned.
