Cast Metals Technology (Machining Division) is looking for a CMM Operator / Programmer who is responsible to program CMMs and complete in process inspection. Inspectors are a technical resource for the company in matters relating to product quality.

- Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality management systems
- Experience using other precision inspection tools (micrometers, height gauges, calipers, optical comparators, etc.

- The ability to communicate well with all levels of employees within the company
- Perform quality inspection operations and complete the associated documentation per customer requirements
- Apply the requirements of the Quality System in performance of daily assignments
- Report any issues or concerns (non-conformances, machine issues, etc.) to the Shop Manager
- Assist team members with technical support
- Maintain the work area (cleanliness, organization, etc.)
Educational Experience – High School diploma or GED required, education in trade school, vocational education, or apprenticeship preferred.
Experience – Must have previous CMM programming experience. PC-DMIS, CMM Manager or similar CMM software experience preferred. Must be a competent inspector possessing math, communication, and computer skills. Previous inspection experience is required. A strong knowledge of GD&T and drawing interpretation required. Familiarity with PPAP, FAI, and SPC documentation.
