Civil Engineer Assistant Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Project Manager to join our Engineering Firm. In this role, you will assist in managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

- Create zoning compliant Civil Plans for proposed projects in various locations throughout continental U.S.

- Coordinate Civil Plan review and revisions with AHJs (Authority Having Jurisdiction)

- Coordinate utility design and connection process to ensure smooth construction for project General Contractor.

- Communicate with project manager and teammates to ensure project completion meets deadlines.

- Organize and host pre-application, pre-construction, pre-bid meetings with AHJ and clients to ensure design compliance with AHJ standards and client standards.

- Attend project meetings across Continental US with Clients, Utility Companies, Planning Commissions, and AHJ officials.

Skills

- Knowledge of Auto CAD and other engineering software.

- Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, and HeavyBid.

- Understanding of the Civil Engineering processes.

- Excellent project scheduling abilities with a focus on time management.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in project coordination.

- Effective communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
