CDL Class B - Driver Operator

The position is responsible for high-pressure jetting, catch basin cleaning, general vactor work. {Will Train}

Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

- Properly operate and maintain Vactor equipment {Will Train}

- Performs all work tasks required to support execution of sewer maintenance, inspection and/or rehabilitation pipeline tasks

- Work effectively with supervisors and all members of the crew to ensure successful inspections, cleaning, repairs, and rehabilitation of sanitary and storm sewer collection systems.

- Load materials and equipment into vehicles for transportation to and from the job site.

- Able to work in the elements - extreme cold and heat for long duration.

- Can lift, push/pull, carry 50 lbs.

Skills and Specifications

- Capable of following instructions and on-the-job training.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Basic math skills.

- Preferred 3-5 years of experience operating a Class B Vehicle

- Tanker Endorsement

- Possess a CDL-B with a clean driver record

- Ability to work overtime and out of town/state.

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift over 50 lbs.

Education And Qualifications

- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Preferred 3-5 years of experience operating a Class A or B Vehicle

- Tanker Endorsement

- Ability to communicate effectively with crew and customers including, both verbally and in writing

- Ability to think logically about work at hand and compare site conditions with project designs

- Ability to enter and work in confined spaces.

- Ability to operate a variety of simple and complex tools.

- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, D.O.T. physical and driver’s license check for past 36 months without any suspensions or major traffic violations (D.O.T. requirements).

Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday may include shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays - Flexibility is required as job duties demand.

23 - 28 USD per hour(Services - NE)
