About This Job

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design and drafting and engineering of millwork projects, ensuring that all plans are accurate and meet the necessary specifications. This position requires a strong understanding of cabinet construction processes, project management, and proficiency in AutoCAD software.

Composing detailed purchase orders for millwork, stair packages and custom molding packages.

The applicant for this position must be proficient in drawing custom cabinets and millwork on AutoCAD 2022 or newer.

Duties

•

Create detailed CAD drawings and blueprints based on project specifications and requirements.

•

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure designs align with project goals.

•

Interpret and incorporate feedback from construction site teams into design revisions.

•

Assist in project scheduling and coordination to ensure timely completion of drafts.

•

Utilize software such as Cabinet Vision, Excel, ProCore, and other relevant tools for project management and documentation.

•

Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and related documentation for easy access.

•

Conduct site visits as needed to gather information and ensure accuracy in designs.

Experience

•

Proven experience as an AutoCAD Drafter within the custom cabinet and millwork industry.

•

Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and construction site practices.

•

Familiarity with project management principles, including project coordination and scheduling.

•

Experience with software tools such as HeavyBid, Primavera, ProCore is highly desirable.

•

Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

•

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
