Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and schematics using various CAD software. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles and the ability to translate concepts into detailed plans that meet project specifications.
Duties
•
Develop and prepare detailed CAD drawings, schematics, and models for various projects.
•
Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand design requirements and project specifications.
•
Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, MicroStation, and NavisWorks to create accurate representations of designs.
•
Review and revise drawings based on feedback from team members or clients.
•
Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
•
Maintain organized files and documentation for all projects.
•
Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.
Qualifications
•
Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, MicroStation, Sketchup, and NavisWorks is essential.
•
Strong understanding of drafting principles and techniques.
•
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
•
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
•
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
•
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
•
A degree or certification in drafting or a related field is a plus.
