Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and plans that support our Finish Carpentry, Manufacturing and design projects. This role requires a strong construction field background with an understanding of mechanical design principles and proficiency in various drafting software. The Drafter will collaborate closely with Department Leads, engineers and project managers to ensure that all designs meet specifications and project requirements.

Responsibilities

•

Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Cabinet Vision, CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.

•

Collaborate with staff to understand design requirements and translate them into technical drawings.

•

Experience with tools such as Cabinet Vision, SolidWorks, Revit, and 3ds Max for creating models and visualizations.

•

Perform revisions on existing drawings based on feedback from team members or clients.

•

Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards.

•

Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications and reports.

•

Support the graphic design needs of the team by creating visuals that enhance presentations and proposals.

Experience

•

Proficiency in Cabinet Vision software is essential; experience with CAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or 3ds Max is highly desirable.

•

Familiarity with Construction design principles and practices.

•

Experience in graphic design or 2D animation is a plus, enhancing the ability to create engaging visuals.

•

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

•

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual tasks effectively.

•

Previous experience in Commercial Finish Carpentry, Cabinetry Construction, drafting or related fields is preferred.
