The
Business Process & Reporting Analystwill play a key role in managing and improving Flotek’s operational data, reporting, and business systems. This role will focus on supporting operations and finance in developing KPI’s, automated operational reports, data quality management, ERP system reporting, and business intelligence through tools like Power BI, Excel, ZOHO, and AI. The analyst will partner with cross-functional teams to translate complex operational & financial data sets into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and operational excellence. This role could offer the opportunity for project management and leading internal improvement initiatives.
- Develop KPIs and Reports
: Partner with Finance and Operations to define and track key performance metrics, design dashboards and reports in Power BI to drive strategic decisions.
- Data Management & Analysis
: Collect, integrate, and analyze data from ERP and financial systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Data Quality Assurance:
Implement data quality controls and conduct regular audits to maintain reliable datasets.
- Process Improvement
: Lead or support projects to enhance ERP functionality, data integration, and operational workflows, recommending system improvements (e.g., automation or reporting enhancements).
- Business Intelligence:
Collaborate with IT and business units to strengthen data collection and reporting processes, leveraging SQL and ETL tools.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
Demonstrate exceptional business communication skills to clearly convey complex data insights to sales, operations, finance, and IT teams, fostering cross-functional collaboration through presentations, reports, and meetings.
- Additional Responsibilities:
Contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed to support Flotek’s goalsWhile this role does not have direct reports, it may mentor junior planners or analysts and lead cross-functional working groups.
This role is based in a professional office setting in Houston, TX, with occasional visits to warehouse or production facilities. Flotek promotes a safe, inclusive, and collaborative workplace.

The role may involve visual tasks that require the ability to see at varying distances and adjust focus.
This is a full-time position with business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required based on business needs.
This role requires minimal travel (<10%), primarily local or regional, to support operational needs.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
· 3+ years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on data management, reporting, or process improvement, preferably in energy, manufacturing, finance, or related industries.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables) and Power BI (dashboard creation, DAX); certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) is a plus.
· Experience with SQL, database technologies, and ETL processes for data integration and analysis.
· Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS) and financial reporting standards.
· Experience leveraging AI or data analytics tools to enhance reporting or decision-making.
· Proven ability to lead or contribute to process improvement initiatives, including creating process maps and managing cross-functional projects.
· Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to data quality and presentations.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
