This Business Analyst role will act as a Business Process Support Specialist, supporting the Generation operational area to maximize value gained from the use of SAP.
- SAP Solution Support:
- Communicate with business users on SAP solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues (including urgent/major)
- Develop reporting and lead other technical areas through implementation
- Setup and configure some solutions
- Manage identification through implementation of solutions and processes
- Maintain master data
- Create and maintain LSMW scripts
- Manage business authorizations for access
- Training Delivery:
- Create training materials
- Deliver formal training for PP and maintenance modules
- Provide informal/ad hoc training to business units (Operators, Planners, Foremen, Shift Supervisors)
- Project Delivery:
- Gather requirements and develop test cases
- Provide demos, coordinate data collection and analysis
- Identify and engage key resources
- Coordinate and assist in testing and defect identification
- Manage cutover activities and data migration
- Business Liaison:
- Process development
- Identify enhancement requests for SAP or other solutions
- Provide consulting to understand technology and process interdependencies
- Post-secondary education in computer technology (BSc, MSc)
- Relevant SAP Functional and/or Academy Training/Certification
- Demonstrated record of continuous improvement
- Experience with Utility companies, including overhauls and permitting applications
- 3–5 years relevant SAP experience, including implementation, upgrade, support, and maintenance
- Technical aptitude with relevant business experience
- Familiarity with:
- SAP ERP
- SAP Solution Manager
- SAP Business Suite and NetWeaver components (ISU, CRM, Portal, PO, etc.)
- SAP HANA
- SAP Configuration Tools (IMG)
- Barcode Applications
- Partner products (Microfocus ALM, Cideon Product Suite, OpenText)
