This role is looking for a self-starter who is interested in taking a critical part in transforming reporting processes for Dominion’s expense reporting system.
The Business Performance Analyst position will support Dominion Energy’s Card Team operations, focusing on the Virtual Card (Vendor) and Flex Card programs. Primary responsibilities will be to provide financial/ spend analysis, operational metrics, as well as program performance to drive strategic improvements, system enhancements and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- - Prepare and present financial impact analyses for card programs.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor card usage, reconciliation timelines, and exception trends.
- Generate monthly reports on Flex Card transactions and vendor engagement.
- Program Oversight & Compliance
- - Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of card transactions in Concur Expense.
- Monitor overdue transactions and approvals using SAP and dashboard tools.
- Support audit preparation and documentation for internal and external reviews.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- - Collaborate with cardholders, finance teams, and external vendors to resolve disputes and improve card acceptance.
- Enhance training for new cardholders, including documentation and policy education.
- Process Improvement & Strategy
- - Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend automation or system enhancements.
- Support strategic supplier engagement and payment term alignment for virtual card campaigns.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
2-3+ years of relevant experience in directly related field. Note: A Master's degree will count as one year of experience.
Specific knowledge, skills, abilities and experience include:
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and performance tracking.
- Strong Excel skills. Power BI and other data visualization skills are preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP, Concur Expense, and dashboard reporting tools. Experience with Concur preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in card program operations, vendor relations, or corporate disbursements preferred.
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor
