POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Qcells is seeking a highly capable Business Financial Manager to oversee the business planning and financial operations of the New Homes business. In this role, you will lead the development of financial forecasts and drive core financial processes that support business execution. Your primary responsibilities will include managing financial models, conducting forecast and variance analysis, and providing actionable financial insights to business leaders. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams – including Axia and EnFin – to develop integrated financial models that enhance project-level financial outcomes and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
This position will report to the Director of New Homes Business Planning & Finance, or to another senior leader designated by the President. This role is based in the San Francisco, CA office location with regular working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (local time).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Build and maintain detailed financial models aligned with the New Homes business strategy.
•Lead the preparation of business profitability and cash flow forecasts, ensuring alignment with operational inputs from cross-functional teams.
•Support the monthly financial close process by conducting variance analyses, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommending forecast adjustments.
•Collaborate with Axia’s accounting team to support general ledger entry setup and define accounting rules specific to the New Homes business.
•Provide data-driven financial insights and implications to decision-makers and cross-functional leaders.
•Establish analytical frameworks for the team: ad-hoc analysis, automated dashboards, and self-service reporting tools to surface key data to stakeholders.
•Support developing and maintaining KPI dashboards to monitor business performance.
•Serve as a key finance liaison for internal stakeholder coordination, process improvement initiatives, ad hoc financial analysis, bilingual (Korean/English) reporting.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor's degree in any quantitative field (e.g., Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics) with a minimum of 8+ years of professional work experience including 5+ years of experience in financial modeling and operational finance, and 3+ years in business development, strategic planning, or other related fields.
•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
•Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet critical deadlines.
•Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
•Excellent analytical skills and relentless attention to detail.
•Strong work ethic and ability to research, identify, and troubleshoot problems independently.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
•Ability to adapt and work well in a fast-paced work environment as well as accept and learn from feedback quickly.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•3+ years of experience working in or coordinating residential solar PV installations or solar financing.
•1+ years of experience using Oracle, Tableau, Salesforce, or SQL
•Familiarity with solar PV system components and grid connection processes. Fluency in both Korean and English, with the ability to support bilingual reporting and communication across HQ and local teams.

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
