SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Finance Manager to lead our proposal development, contract lifecycle management, and commercial finance activities. This pivotal role will bridge sales, legal, operations, and finance teams to develop winning proposals, negotiate favorable contract terms, and drive financial health across projects and strategic initiatives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Lead end-to-end proposal development process, including RFP/RFI analysis, stakeholder coordination, proposal writing, formatting, and final submission.
•Manage proposal schedules, compliance checklists, and version control to meet internal and external deadlines.
•Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and profitability analysis from bid stage through project closeout.
•Review, draft, negotiate, and execute customer and subcontractor agreements, including MSAs, NDAs, purchase orders, and service contracts.
•Identify and mitigate contractual risks, ensuring alignment with legal, commercial, and operational standards.
•Prepare and issue Sales Order Summaries (SOS) upon receipt of new sales order/PO from a customer. Obtains approval from all affected departments in company. Issues revisions to SOS with the support of Project Management.
•Monitor project cash flow, revenue recognition, invoicing schedules, and margin performance in partnership with project managers, finance and the CFO.
•Analyze financial performance against contract terms and KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
•Maintain centralized contract repository, manage contract lifecycle tracking, and ensure compliance with milestones and obligations.
•Collaborate with legal counsel and the CEO to resolve disputes and advise project teams on contract interpretation and enforcement.
•Analyze financial performance versus forecast and plan for projects, products or services by division and investigate significant variances and communicate findings.
•Support the establishment of procedures, prepares, and coordinates schedules, and expedites workflow as required by the business.
•Assist with related special projects as needed.
•Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent.
•Two to four years related experience or equivalent
