Job Summary
Reporting to the President/CEO, the Outside Sales / Business Development manages an assigned territory in the sale of DK-LOK Canada Ltd. group of products, looks for ways to expand products and services, while researching and creating strategies for expanding current markets and finding new ones.

Familiar with the technical aspects of DK-LOK products
Advanced ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal English, including sales presentations
Advanced ability to develop strong interpersonal working relationships and work in a team environment
A friendly and energetic personality with a strong customer service focus
Read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, etc
Developed knowledge of the industry within a given market
All DK-LOK Canada Ltd. employees must familiarize themselves with the Company Safety Policy and actively participate in these programs
a) Seeks out prospective business opportunities with new and existing customers
c) Reports on competitive conditions and market intelligence from customers and/or market to management
d) Stays current on existing and emerging products and technologies
e) Analyze sales statistics, such as product volume, gross revenues, sales expenses and demographics of purchasers
g) Develop and maintain contacts network through industry related associations and trade shows both domestically and internationally
a) Maintains ethical, cooperative relationships consistent with company image and company goals in the marketplace
b) Persuades clients that a product and/or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery
c) Continued follow-up on internal, new and existing customers
d) Demonstrate a sense of urgency when handling customer queries
f) Address and report on any positive or negative feedback made by the customers to improve on the company’s overall product and/or services
a) Read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, etc.
b) Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting partners; discovering and exploring opportunities
c) Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, evaluating options, and resolving internal priorities
d) Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts
e) Participates in educational opportunities, maintains personal network and is actively involved in professional organizations
f) Enhances company reputation by exploring value added opportunities
a) Execute timely preparation of all expense reports, call reports and assigned projects
