Metal Fab Guys is seeking candidates who are both a driven Business Development professional and a strategic relationship builder. The ideal candidates are responsible for identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and supporting the sales pipeline to drive company growth. This role bridges sales and operations, requiring a strong understanding of fabrication processes, customer needs, and market dynamics. The ideal candidate will support projects from initial outreach through quoting and handoff to engineering, ensuring clear communication, accuracy, and customer satisfaction every step of the way.
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and research potential customers and industries aligned with our fabrication capabilities.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners.
- Sales Development: Prepare proposals, quotes, and tailored presentations that meet customer needs.
- Strategic Growth: Collaborate with leadership to target key markets, OEMs, contractors, and industry partners.
- Market Research: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to strengthen our market position.
- Networking & Outreach: Represent Metal Fab Guys at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings to expand visibility.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and organized records in the CRM system to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with estimating and operations teams to ensure client requirements are fully understood and delivered.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (OEM manufacturing services preferred).
- Strong computer skills. Experience with Odoo ERP or similar software is considered a plus.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand technical processes and clearly communicate fabrication capabilities to customers.
- Self driven with a proven ability to achieve or exceed sales goals.
