Main Purpose: Leverage your mechanical/technical work experience to drive business growth and exceed financial targets in collaboration with leadership. Your hands-on experience will be invaluable in understanding client needs and promoting our services effectively.
Collaborate with Global Business Development Team: Work closely with our team to share insights from your trades background, contributing to marketing strategies and client engagement.
Client Engagement: Conduct visits to current and potential clients, showcasing our services and products. Your technical knowledge will help build trust and rapport.
Network Development: Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in Petrochemical, Steel and Paper Mills, alternative energy, fabrication, and shipyard sectors etc.
Vendor Management: Ensure Altrad Sparrows is recognized as an approved vendor for all relevant products and services.
Market Insight: Anticipate market trends and communicate opportunities to position Altrad Sparrows advantageously.
Technical Representation: Represent Altrad Sparrows in technical and commercial inquiries, utilizing your trades expertise to address client needs.
Revenue Focus: Maintain an active interest in revenue collection and assist in resolving customer issues to enhance satisfaction.
CRM Management: Track potential sales opportunities and coordinate with management to maximize our outreach and effectiveness
Sales Material Maintenance: Develop and maintain compelling sales materials for presentations and quotations.
Customer Base Development: Establish and nurture a core customer base, ensuring ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
Ethical Standards: Ensure all business transactions adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards, in line with Sparrows Group policies.
Additional Duties: Perform any other reasonable tasks assigned by the Business Development Manager to support overall business objectives.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of field technical experience, strong customer service skills, strong communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of leadership effectively. Strong closing abilities are essential for converting opportunities into successful sales.
